Human Rights Advocate & Philanthropist
About Katrina Sriranpong
Katrina Sriranpong is a former lawyer and philanthropist whose work is guided by a deep commitment to building a more just and compassionate world for future generations. Inspired by her role as a mother, her dedication to social impact is reflected in her longstanding and consistent support of charitable and nonprofit organizations in Canada and internationally. Through the generous contribution of both time and resources, Katrina supports initiatives focused on combating human trafficking—particularly the trafficking of children—assisting refugees, caring for orphans, and advancing animal welfare and protection. She believes philanthropy is not limited to financial giving, but is accessible to everyone through the sharing of time, skills, knowledge, and compassion.

As the only Thai-speaking Canadian immigration and refugee lawyer in British Columbia during her legal career, Katrina spent years advocating for refugees and immigrants navigating complex and often overwhelming legal systems. Her professional work was rooted in service to vulnerable and marginalized communities, a commitment that continues to shape her philanthropic and advocacy efforts today. Katrina is also a strong advocate for children affected by conflict, supporting programs that promote rehabilitation, education, and long-term developmental support in war-torn regions.

Born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, to a family with roots in Thailand, Katrina remains deeply connected to her community. She is a mother of two and values time spent with her family, traveling, hiking the mountains of North Vancouver, and continuing her advocacy for those whose voices are too often unheard.
